Arthur Ellis have crafted 4 different wellbeing workshops in order to not only make your staff both resilient and compassionate to workplace mental health challenges, but help them to promote a positive mental health culture throughout your business, that impacts both staff and customers alike.
Want to know more? We're glad you asked!
Workshop 1: Early interventions
Bananas & Doughnuts
In this workshop, we will be exploring;
Lived experiences
What wellbeing and mental health are and how they impact each other
Using our Bananas and Doughnuts to protect positive behaviours
Recognising early negative behaviours and corrective action.
1-1.5 hours, for up to 60 delegates.
Our Founder, Jon, has lived with mental health challenges all his life and in this workshop, he shares his own experiences as well as how learning a lot about his own behaviour has helped him. This is all backed by our own clinical team and their insights, too.
The Arthur Ellis Bananas and Doughnuts are a simple but effective way for us to understand that the way we behave transforms how we feel, and how to break bad cycles of behaviour.
Workshop 2: Advanced Interventions
Positive Psychology
In this workshop, we will be exploring;
What wellbeing and mental health are and how they impact each other
Adopting therapeutic thinking to help young people and/or vulnerable adults in your workplace, strengthening your ‘frontline’
Building resilience in challenging and correcting embedded negative behaviours and associations
1.5 hours, for up to 80 delegates.
Therapeutic Thinking is an approach that focuses on supporting young people and vulnerable adults’ emotional well-being and mental health. We address how professionals can create a culture where people receive the help they need to see and understand the barriers in front of them, overcome these barriers and achieve success. The approach emphasizes understanding behaviour and responding inclusively to facilitate positive, lasting change.
Workshop 3: Wellbeing Champions
Wellbeing Conversations
Throughout the workshop, your leaders will understand a variety of things, which include:
Why people burnout, and how to promote behaviours to avoid it
Making reasonable adjustments
Managing crisis situations
Have effective, wellbeing-centred conversations
Building wellbeing promotion into your culture
Leading by example
3 hours, for up to 10 delegates.
Our training is designed to build into your existing management styles. There isn't a huge amount of commitment or change for leaders adopting this mindset despite the tangible benefits.
The time for raising awareness about mental health is over. Now, it’s about action.
A lot of training around mental health concentrates on identifying signs and symptoms of poor mental health - but if people are symptomatic, then they are already sick.
Our aim is to help leaders get their people into a ‘FLOW state’ of optimal performance, preventing mental health issues arising by positively promoting wellbeing across their teams. And, if there is ever a peer in crisis, with this training we are able to confidently create a psychologically safe environment to work in and excel.
Bespoke Podcast Series
Having the conversation
Whether you're seeking practical tips or inspiration, our podcast offers valuable resources to help you navigate life's challenges and cultivate a healthier, more balanced mindset.
Arthur Ellis has decided to innovate and modernise the way mental health and wellbeing training is delivered whilst making the development as efficient as possible for clients.
A Wellbeing Conversations podcast is an innovative, 6 episode training series created with your people, for your people.
We focus on various topics from emotional intelligence, neurodiversity, customer service, regulating our emotions and many more.
We design, film and produce incredible, real-life discussions about these important topics with your people whilst going through therapeutic self-help tools.
This creates 25-30 minute training podcasts, delivered by peers, containing supportive resources and therapeutic, self-improvement tools that others can learn from.
Firstly, we don’t have to shut down a business for hours or days at a time. We set ourselves up to film and each conversation will take about an hour of your colleagues’ time. Just like they are going to a meeting.
It’s convenient, with people working in so many different ways and under a lot of pressure as it is, this creates content that can be listened to as a podcast in the car, on a run or during a commute. It can also be rewound...unlike real life.
It’s scalable. Let’s say you run a wellbeing workshop just before a big recruitment drive then the people you have trained have left or moved to another area of the business. These videos can work as part on an induction process, can be built on with more training and can impact 100% of your population.

I'm sure it's no surprise to you that since the pandemic, those accessing our services has increased by 806%, and this figure continues to rise. Adapting to support the most vulnerable in our community is needed and as ever, we are grateful for your support in partnering with us to achieve this.
This change brings us one step closer to achieving our mission - to help the estimated 1.7 million people across the UK who struggle to access support, without long waits or high thresholds.
We’re committed to making prioritizing mental health as effortless and effective for you as possible. If any other questions come up, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
