Bananas & Doughnuts Framework

A lot of mental health support is reactive. So, we created the Bananas and Doughnuts to help people understand how they can look after their mental health long-term, proactively.

Our award-winning education and training models are built using these principles; that prevention is better than cure.

Our bunch of 'bananas' are our healthy behaviours that scientifically support different elements of our mental health.

Why Bananas? Because, like eating a banana, it's simple to do every day and we will only get healthier as a result.

Our 'doughnuts' are our less-healthy behaviours; despite them giving us instant gratification, or even a rush, over time they can negatively impact our mental health. Doom-scrolling is an example of one of them.

We teach our Bananas and Doughnuts framework across the UK and have even run workshops across Europe and North America.

Bring the Bananas and Doughnuts framework into your school, charity or workplace.

Our Bananas and Doughnuts Workshops help businesses, schools, and groups understand mental health in a simple and engaging way. We explore how small changes can improve well-being, build resilience, and create a more supportive environment for everyone. Get in touch today to book a session and start making real change.
