Arthur Ellis gains Safe Practice Mark

May 2, 2025

We have some exciting news! Our Charity has gained a new accreditation; the Milton Keynes Youth Provision Safe Practice Mark, awarded to us by Milton Keynes City Council. MKCC says:

"The Safe Practice Mark is awarded to organisations providing youth services. It provides assurance to those using the services that correct safeguards are in place [...] MKCC Safeguarding Managers review the organisations safeguarding, allegations, social media and data protection policies and procedures including that DBS checks, safeguarding training and a Designated Safeguarding Lead are in place".

There is nothing more important to us here at Arthur Ellis than the safeguarding of our clients; it is centric to everything we do. As an organisation, we are committed to employing the best staff to undertake direct work with our clients, whether this is paid employees, trainees, work placements, or volunteers at our Summer Festival of Wellbeing. Across all of these positions, we not only ensure all members are qualified, researched and DBS-checked, but also that all staff exemplify the ethos and values of Arthur Ellis.

We have a diverse team of people who represent the communities we serve. This not only ensures that our clients have a comfortability with at least one of our team members’, but also that our team can grow and learn from each other, ensuring an enrichment of workplace culture and individual skill.

Our belief and trust in our vetted practitioners means that we are confident in our clients receiving the best mental healthcare and mentorship possible. As we are expanding into Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, this award from MKCC validates our procedures, protection of clients and our way of working as we expand our care to other communities.

We are so pleased to have gained this accreditation and are so proud of our Arthur Ellis team that have made this possible! Read more on this, here.
