School Referral
No child should have to face mental health challenges on their own.
Arthur Ellis is a dedicated mental health charity that collaborates with students, families, and school staff across the UK.
Our mission is to provide essential mental health support and resources within the school environment, creating a healthier, more supportive atmosphere for learning.
We aim to equip everyone in the school community with the tools and understanding they need to address mental health challenges, ensuring that no one faces these struggles alone.
By working together, we strive to create lasting positive change for the mental well-being of pupils, families, and staff alike.
How the Referral Process Works
Referring individuals for mental health and wellbeing support through Arthur Ellis is simple. Our goal is to provide fast, practical, and compassionate care to those who need it most. Follow these steps to submit a referral.

Step 1: Check Child Eligibility
A parent, carer, staff member, or the child themselves raises a concern about their wellbeing. A nominated member of staff at the school reviews the situation to determine if Arthur Ellis is the right service to provide support.
Step 2: Gather the Required Information
Step 3: Submit the Referral
Step 4: What Happens Next?
Supervision Sessions
Ensuring pastoral and safeguarding teams are supervised is an Ofsted requirement.
At The Arthur Ellis Mental Health Foundation, we have colleagues trained in Clinical Supervision who can support your team's CPD whilst improving the safeguarding and continuity of care for students.
Supervision Groups are automatically built into our Provisions so you can rest assured you’re covered! However, if we feel like someone in the team could benefit from a more individual approach, we can facilitate 1:1 supervision too!
